Revolutionise Yourself

I would say you’ll never guess where I am, but I’m actually standing in front of one of the most recognisable symbols in Paris, the Eiffel Tower, the Eiffel Tower is 130 years old this year. It was built in 1889 to commemorate the French revolution. The French revolution changed the course of modern history. It triggered the global decline in absolute monarchies, introduced republics and liberal democracies to the world. When the concept of the Eiffel tower was being thrown around in the 1880s it was thought to be impossible to build a structure of this height, but the leaders of the time did not listen to the status quo and they forged ahead to build this beautiful icon that we see here today. As I’m standing here in front of this symbol of freedom, equality, and fraternity, it’s got me thinking about my own work life and personal life actually. What can I revolutionize in my life and what is it that my thoughts are saying are impossible to do? So as part of our work at Chaordic Global Consulting our job is to help leaders stay on the bleeding edge. And we do this by helping them see the parts of themselves that can be revolutionised and or make the impossible into the possible. Well, that’s it for me for the moment. I’m going to get into the French spirit and have myself a crepe and continue on with my journey.
